Prior To Contractual Engagement
The first step in working toward resolution is to gain familiarity with a project and the specific conflicts that have arisen. To do this we will want to have open, candid conversations with key representatives of your firm. We will ask for a set of construction documents. We may ask for other pertinent information required to help us understand the origins and basis of conflicts that exist.
We sign a memorandum of understanding with the prospective client that states no contract and no binding obligations yet exist, and that any exchange of information is for benefit of discussion only. For your protection we sign a confidentiality agreement so you have the assurance that information entrusted to us will not be distributed. During this period you are free to terminate discussions at any time, with no financial obligation owing to Visidio Partners.
